This year was a bit controversial for me.
People say, a lot of stuff happened in my life during the year. However, I don’t remember many of the things probably because of the eternal summer here in Malaysia. Every day seems the same. Time flies dramatically, though.
After the happiest year of my life that I spent in Indonesia, enjoying my life fool of freedom and adventures, 2015 seemed very unsatisfying at times.
Many times I was not sure what I am doing at this point of life and what should I be doing next.
Many times I felt bored, tired and confused.
Many times I felt satisfied with the skills I gain, work I did and projects I accomplished.
Many times I felt self-respect for the strength I have.
And how many times I felt grateful for the amazing people that I met here, who inspired and guided me during this year!
2015 year in review:
Ended my relationships
2 days in Melaka, Port Dixon, Johor Bahru and Kuantan, and the place with fireflies (how’s that place called?) Malaysia
2 days in Cameroon Highlands, Malaysia
Took part in Holi festival for the first time and fainted there
4 days in Siem Reap, Cambodia – Angkor wat – nothing special, very commercial place
3 days in Bangkok, Thailand – didn’t see almost anything but spent awesome time with cool people
10 days in Ukraine – defended my master’s thesis and got my M.A. degree (yay, freedom, finally )
Appeared in the advertisement in Malaysia
4 days in Sabah, Borneo (nothing special if you’ve been to Indonesia 🙂 sorry)
Got a new job (awesome!)
Became a Shutterstock author (I know, I know, working on it);
Got confirmed and got a new position;
Celebrated Birthday in Kuala Lumpur (Video);
Celebrated New Year on the beach! Pangkor island, Malaysia (Now you know where to find me 🙂 ).
This year I’ve seen haze for the first time and it lasted for more than 2 months, co-created 4 magazines in English, was working as a guide for the first time and had a chance to meet many Ukrainians who came to Malaysia for holidays :).
I can do a lot more that I thought I could, and you can too 😉
People make my life better: more interesting and full.
Every decision I make is influencing my future life dramatically; especially the small everyday choices I make. Because 20 to 30 is the time when we make 70% of the most important decision in life.
So, hight standards and quality are crucial.
Respect is better motivation than love.
